Eight States Untouched As COVID-19 Arrives Imo

87 New Cases Raise Total Figures To 1,182

Imo State on Saturday became the 28th state to be affected by the COVID-19 pandemic after the state was credited with one of the 87 cases reported by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.

The new cases reported by the NCDC brought the total number of cases in the country to 1,182.

As at Saturday the only states yet to be afflicted with the COVID-19 pandemic were Cross River, Bayelsa, Yobe, Taraba, Ebonyi, Kogi, Kebbi and Nasarawa

The NCDC also transferred one case from Lagos to Ondo State upon the fact that the policeman who tested positive for the virus in Lagos relocated to Ondo State for treatment.
