Nigerian Lady Offered For Sale Now Rescued

The Nigerian woman, Busari Peace, who was offered for sale by Lebanese, Wael Jerro on Facebook has been rescued.
The Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, on Tuesday, said the Nigerian woman is now with the Nigerian Mission in Beirut, Lebanon.
GreenwhiteGreen reported how Wael Jerro placed an advertisement on Facebook for the sale of the victim with her passport for a price tag of $1,000.
The snapshot of the now-deleted Facebook post generated outrage from many Nigerians.
Dabiri-Erewa had announced the arrest of Jerro in Lebanon by the Lebanese Government.
The Chairman of NIDCOM, in a Tweet, said, “Update on Nigerian girl put up for sale by a Lebanese, Wael Jerro, on Facebook. She has been rescued and safely with officials of the Nigerian Mission in Beirut.”
