Kano Overtakes Lagos In Daily COVID-19 Cases
As Nigeria Reaches Record 204 Cases

The daily number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria reached a new record on Thursday with 204 cases reported in 17 states and the FCT.
In a significant development, Kano for the first time overshot Lagos after it reported 80 new cases as compared to the 45 reported by Lagos.
Kano has comfortably settled at the second position in the number of cases less than two weeks after it reported its first case. The state on Thursday had 219 cases second only to Lagos which had 976. The FCT which reported two cases on Thursday now has 179 cases.
