COVID-19 Deaths Cross 100, After 3,145 Cases

The number of new COVID-19 cases in the country rose sharply on Wednesday after the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC reported 198 cases up from the 148 reported on Tuesday.

The new cases came from 13 states with the Northern states again dominating with 10 states.

Remarkably, the number of deaths crossed the 100 mark after five deaths pushed the number of deaths from COVID-19 in the country to 103. The number of total cases also crossed the 3,000 mark to 3,145.
