Wike’s Arrest Of ‘Big Man’ Sets Social Media Abuzz

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has sent twitter abuzz after arresting a ‘big man’ escorted by armed policemen who was apparently violating his decision to lock down the state.

The man who was in Toyota Cruiser was escorted by policemen was intercepted by the governor’s entourage along a major road in Port-Harcourt. The man was immediately ordered to be taken to an Isolation Centre while the policemen with him were taken away from him.

Governor Wike has been rigorously enforcing the lockdown of the state with a determination to stave off the inflow of the coronavirus.

The Rivers State Government has meanwhile in furtherance of its directives has ordered the demolition of two hotels: Prudent Hotel at Alode, Eleme and Etemeteh Hotel in Onne.

It was disclosed that the demolition would be carried out because the hotels flouted the administration’s directive that all hotels be closed.
