Gambari Told To Use Diplomatic Skill To Change Nigeria

A Civil Society Organization, Coalition for Good Governance and Change Initiative (CGGCI), has charged newly appointed Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, to bring more innovation and expertise in transforming the nation’s infrastructure.

CGGCI, in a congratulatory letter to Prof Gambari on his appointment as CoS, said his choice has given Nigeria further recognition in the International Community based on his academic credentials.

The letter signed by CGGCI National Coordinator, Comrade Okpokwu Ogenyi, said the appointment was well deserved.

The group said: “Your appointment has given Nigeria further recognition in the International Community based on your academic credentials, your wealth of experience, your immerse contributions to the development of Africa as a continent and your personal relation with World leaders.

“We, Nigerians are celebrating your appointment because the best hand has been employed to continue with the business of good governance and service delivery to the Nation. We have no doubt, that as the Chief of Staff to Mr. President your international relations will be of advantage to the Country, continue to champion the cause of Africa based on Nigeria’s foreign policy.

“We as citizens shall always be with you and Mr. President in providing the necessary support the administration requires in moving Nigeria forward.

“Though a lot has been achieved within five years of this administration, we urge you to bring more innovation and expertise in transforming the Nation’s infrastructure as it has been so dear to Mr. President in ensuring total reformation of the infrastructural sector of the economy.

“We believed in your quality service to Mr. President as he serves the Nation,” CGGCI added.
