A 50-year-old man, Peter Ayemoba has blamed the ‘spirit of sex’ for his action in raping his two middle-aged daughters.
He said this after being arrested by the Niger State Police Command.
He was recently picked up by the police for raping his two middle age daughters in the Suleja Local Government Area of the state.
The police acted on a complaint by a family member. Ayemoba was alleged to have perpetrated the act for over six years.
It was gathered that the victims are between the ages of 20 and 22 and had been having sex with their father since 2013 until he found himself in police net.
It was said that the suspect had on several occasions threatened to kill the women and commit suicide if they denied him sex.
Ayemoba said, “The last thing my daughters will do is to deny me sex when I want it especially when I am drunk, once the spirit of having sex befalls me any of them that is available will have sex with me.”
The Police Public Relations Officer, Wasiu Abiodun, confirmed the incident, saying the suspect confessed to the crime.
