Nigeria recorded 403 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday with Gombe State topping the list of 19 states and the FCT.
Gombe produced 73 cases to top Lagos which had 68 cases and Kano which produced 46 cases.
The new cases on Sunday brought the total number of cases since the pandemic touched ground in Nigeria to 16,085.
There were 13 deaths which brought the total number of mortalities to 420.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC also observed that 5,220 persons have recovered from the disease a development that brought the total number of active cases of the disease to 10,445.
