A former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, says All Progressives Congress, APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has been retired from politics and set to be trampled following President Muhammadu Buhari to turn against his political structure in the party.
The decision of the president to accord recognition to the Chief Victor Giadom led faction according to Fani-Kayode is the latest in the setback for Tinubu in the reckoning of Chief Fani-Kayode.
Tinubu was a key strategist and leader of the tendency in the party associated with the suspended national chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and those in his camp.
Writing on his Facebook page on Wednesday, Fani-Kayode said:
“First, Oshiomhole was kicked out by the Court of Appeal. Then his preferred replacement, Abiola Ajimobi, falls into a coma. Then his archrival, Giadom is recognised by Buhari as acting national chairman.
“Conclusion: It is over for Tinubu. He has been thrown under the bus and retired from politics.”
