Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State and his wife, Edith have gone into a 14-day isolation following the revelation that one of his daughters has been tested positive for coronavirus, the agent that causes the COVID-19 disease.
The governor did not name the daughter nor the circumstances that led to the development.
The news came following the revelation that Delta State on Thursday recorded the highest number of COVID-19 positive tests with 106 positive tests.
Earlier, the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Mr. Chiedu Ebie and the Commissioner for Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu had been diagnosed as positive for the virus.
Both men are, however, recovering from the disease.
