Nigerian Musician, Oladapo Oyebanjo aka D’Banj who has been entangled in a rape allegation has again come under attack on social media after performing in a crowded house party without regard for the COVID-19 protocols stipulated by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
In a video that was posted by a Twitter user @Mslami_A, D’Banj was seen performing his song ‘Olorun Ma Je’ in a house, surrounded by people who were without their face masks.

In the video, those who were dancing to D’Banj performance in the crowded house were without face masks and social distancing order was not observed.
The development sparked outrage among a section of Twitter users, who argued that the musician should first clear his name from the rape allegation levelled against him by one Seyitan Babatayo.
A section of Twitter users argued that politicians and celebrities now have privileges to flout the orders implemented to contain the spread of COVID-19.
Two weeks ago, another singer, Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley flouted the COVID-19 guidelines of NCDC when he performed in a drive-in concert at Jab Lake Mall, in Abuja.
