Okowa, Wife Test Positive To COVID-19

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and his wife, Dame Edith have tested positive for Coronavirus, the agent that causes COVID-19.

The Governor broke the news on Wednesday, through his verified Twitter handle.

He said:

The governor and his wife had earlier gone on isolation for his disclosure that his daughter had tested positive.

The development is bound to cause unease for the governor’s supporters especially given his diligence in curtailing the spread of the pandemic.
