Top Ghanaian actress and Instagram celebrity, Alade Brown has said that she tried to pass a message that people should respect their mothers in every circumstance, when she posted a picture showing her nakedness to her son on his birthday.

The actress, on Tuesday, shared some pictures on Instagram with one of them showing her completely naked with her son wearing pant, to celebrate his seventh birthday.

The harsh criticisms that greeted the post led to the actress pulling down the picture.

The nude picture triggered anger among many social media users, who were not morally comfortable with the manner the actress exposed her 7-year-old son to her nakedness.

When asked by an Instagram user why she exposed her son to her nakedness, she said, “he is my son he sees this day in day out I bath with him.”

Her response fuelled the already triggered angry in the minds of many, who argued that her action is creating a psychological mindset that might change the sexual orientation of her son.

Obviously not comfortable with the controversy generated, she deleted the pictures from her Instagram handle.

However, screenshots of the images were already taken, as they became a reference for online debate on the morality of her action.

Reacting to the backlash that greeted the picture, the actress in a video, said she is not promoting porn with her page, noting that she was trying to pass an important message to people, regarding having respect for mothers.

In her words, “I want to clear the air on the pix, I posted yesterday on my son’s birthday. I’m an artist (sic) and anything I post I want to create artistic impression. I’m not promoting porn on my page. I cannot do porn with my son. He is my son.

“I was trying to send a message to, children, grown-up adult who do not regard their parents, especially their mothers. Some people will see their parents mad and naked, because they see they are naked, they will run away.

“They won’t take care of them, they won’t cloth them, they will run away. Naked does not mean the person is topless. Someone can expose someone, the person is naked.

“I apologise to those who received hate from the picture, I posted in this morning. I’m not doing porn.”
