Robber Rapes Wives To Spite Cashless Husbands!

A 27-year old robber and ex-convict Adeniyi Ajayi on Wednesday shocked with his confession of raping women in the presence of husbands who do not meet his material needs.

Ajayi, who runs a one-man squad, was nabbed by operatives of the Special Anti- Robbery Squad , SARS, of the Lagos State Police Command, in a hotel in the Ijora 7-up area of Lagos where he was relaxing himself after some operations.

His method was to break into homes and at gun point order his victims to cooperate with him while at the same time giving imaginary orders to ‘gang-members’ in a way to deceive his victims of people surrounding the house.

He would at that time proceed to command money, laptops, ATM cards and such from his victims. In the absence of that he would rape the women including wives and maids.

At least eight women including lawyers and civil servants testified to have been raped by the young man when news of his arrest spread in Lagos on Wednesday.

It was learnt that he was traced through one of the phones he had stolen from a victim.

Speaking on his activities, when he was paraded by the commissioner of police, Hakeem Odumosu, the suspect said: “I have been operating  alone since January 2019, with just torchlight. During the operation, I would be giving orders to my imaginary gang members, on where to position themselves just to give the impression that I was not alone.

“I raped women whose husbands refused to give me money, just to punish them. I also raped housemaids. I used the money realized to lodge in hotels.

“The only solution to this act is for the  Police to waste my life because if  they take me to prison, I will come back hardened and I don’t want to keep disturbing Nigerians.

“The first time I was arrested and sent to prison for stealing someone’s property, inmates made jest of me for coming to prison over a minor case. They said I should join their gangs when I leave there. That Is why I said the Police should waste my life because I know I won’t return from prison as a transformed person.”
