15 Die, 503 New Cases Of COVID-19 In Nigeria

Nigeria recorded 503 new cases of the COVID-19 pandemic in 19 states of the country and the FCT, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC reported late on Tuesday.

The new cases brought the total number of infections in the country to a total of 29,879 out of which 12,108 have fully recovered.

There were 15 deaths attributed to the pandemic according to the NCDC on Tuesday. Among the notable mortalities was the Chief of Staff to the governor of Kwara State, Mr. Adisa Logun.

The death brought the total number of mortalities to 669.

Lagos State had the highest number of new cases with 153 cases and it was followed by Ondo 76, Edo 54 and and FCT 41.
