Oshiomhole’s Return To Edo Stirs Emotions

The return of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole to Edo State after his tour of duty as national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC was forcefully cut down is eliciting mixed reactions in his political base.
Oshiomhole is galvanizing his political base to uproot his former political godson, Governor Godwin Obaseki from office.
Oshiomhole who had been in Abuja since his removal as national chairman, returned to Benin last Friday reportedly with the Benin multibillionaire, Capt Hosa Okunbo in tow.
The return with Capt. Okunbo was significant as it seemed to douse any suspicion as to the proclivity of the influential Benin businessman who is especially beloved by some section of the Benin political and traditional establishment.
The following day, Oshiomhole moved to his country home in Iyanhmo, near Auchi where he was received by an enthusiastic crowd of mostly students of Auchi Polytechnic.
Oshiomhole waxing in his trade union elements vowed to uproot Obaseki who he described as a snake who has sneaked to the devil’s camp.
Meanwhile mixed reactions on the former governor’s intentions are swelling on twitter.
