Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has outlined steps he is going to take to ensure the defeat of his erstwhile political protégée turned antagonist, Godwin Obaseki during the forthcoming governorship campaign in Edo State.

Speaking to supporters from his Edo North base during a campaign rally, Oshiomhole vowed that the end has come for Governor Obaseki.

“Whatever has a beginning has an end,” the former APC national chairman told roaring supporters in his home.

“The problem with the current governor is that he found food on the dining table, he has no idea of the farm, he has no idea of the planting season, he has no idea of how it was even harvested, he just saw himself in an executive dining table,” Oshiomhole dressed in khaki said.

“By the special grace of God, the God of Justice, his end has come,” he said as he said that he would lead the citizens to challenge the governor on his several pledges ahead of the 2016 election.

He particularly upbraided Governor Obaseki for travelling abroad and signing MOUs which he said were never translated into practical investments.

“He invited the vice-president, a man of God Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, he brought him to do ground breaking, thank God the ground no break too much and people did not enter, to set up what they call industrial park where there will be 24 hour electricity.

“Now if you go to the Industrial Park even the place they used to receive the vice-president is just one little place of about 10 meters by 4 meters and even the air condition they put to receive the vice-president has been removed.”

“Do you want government by MOU for MOU into MOU?”

“We are going to engage him. When he said ships will landing and berthing at Gelegele Port, he spent billions to do consultancy. Have you seen small Yamaha boat at Gelegele?”

“I believe the next governor will not repeat the mistakes of the outgoing one,” he said.

Speaking on his aspirations, he said:
“I remain ever grateful to President Muhammadu Buhari for supporting me to become the chairman of APC. I have done my part, I have signed off the chapter and another person will continue from where I stopped and I will continue in another part of life.”
