Dogara’s Defection Meaningless – Bala Moh’d

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has assured leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the country that the state remains firmly in the grip of the party despite the defection of former Speaker Yakubu Dogara.

Speaking to newsmen on Tuesday in Bauchi following a review of Dogara’s defection, he slammed the former Speaker for allegedly telling lies against him.

He said:
“I don’t harbor any malice against him. But he came he showed his true colour as a pretender, as a fabricator of lies against my person who helped him to reconnect and recapture his mandate as  a member of the House of Representatives after being expelled by my adversary the former governor.

“We wish him well. We have told them that there shouldn’t be any rancor, there shouldn’t be any conflicts, they should carry themselves with decorum and I am really assured that we are firmly on ground in Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area and seize the opportunity to debunk all the lies that he advanced concerning local government money, projects and programmes.

“I want to assure the leaders of the PDP in Nigeria that Bauchi is intact, and that the home base of the PDP in Bauchi State is Bauchi Local Government Area and Tafawa Balewa.”
