Deputy Governor of Edo State has said that he and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate, Godwin Obaseki will pick on one of the lessons they learnt from their estranged political godfather, Adams Oshiomhole in pulling through in the Septemeber 19, 2020 election.

According to him the pair alongside the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP will robustly employ the principle of one man one vote as taught to them by Oshiomhole in crusading to victory in the forthcoming election.

“We are going to use the lesson we learnt from Oshiomhole,” Shaibu said in an interview on AIT on Thursday.

“We must vote and defend our votes and stand by our votes because it will be one man one vote. One Oshiomhole, one vote one Obaseki one vote.

“That principle is what we are going to stand by and we are going to defend our votes, we are not weaklings. We don’t look for trouble but when trouble comes we don’t run.

“As far as this election is concerned our people have made up their minds that Obaseki will return and as far as this election is concerned we will be very peaceful and we will win the election.”
