Olamide Pulls Down Sex Video After Nurses’ Rage

“Pawon” crooner Olamide Adedeji has taken down a clip from his latest album, Olamide’s ‘999 from his Instagram page following strong backlash from nurses and allied groups who allege the video clip portrayed nurses as sex objects.
The video, however, remained on You Tube till Wednesday morning until further rage by some nurses caused it to be pulled down.
The controversial music video is titled, ‘Wonma’ and is part of the hit track in Olamide’s ‘999’ album. It is his first release in 2020.
In the video, released two days ago, ladies dressed in the costume of nurses were seen in compromising sexual positions with males.
More than three scenes in the Wonma video were shot in a hospital setting, showing nurses having sex with their patients.
The audio version of Wonma which was released on February 10th, 2020 generated no controversy on the social media.
However, the video has annoyed many Nigerians, especially nurses who argued that the video sexualizes nurses and portrays them negatively
The hashtag, #NursesAreNotSexualObjects, has become a trending topic, as members of the nursing profession lambasted the YBNL boss for negatively portraying nurses as sexual objects.
