10 Die As 373 New COVID-19 Cases Emerge

Nigeria recorded 373 new cases of the COVID pandemic on Thursday, with 10 deaths, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has reported.

The disease was recorded in 19 states and the FCT, the agency reported in a tweet.

The new development brought the total number of cases in the country to 48, 116 with 34,309 persons discharged after successful treatment.

The total mortality from the pandemic has been put at 966.

Lagos State recorded the highest number of new cases with 69 new cases followed by Osun, Kaduna and Oyo with 41, 40 and 4 new cases respectively.
