Police Rescue Man Chained For 30 Years

The Kano state police command, on Thursday, rescued a 55-year-old man, who was allegedly chained in a room for 30 years by his relatives.


The man who was said to be mentally unstable was tied with a chain in one of his legs to a log in a room.


The development is coming days after the Police had rescued two persons in the state, who were restrained with chains.


The police spokesman in the state, Abduallahi Kiyawa disclosed the victim has been rescued and moved to a medical facility in Rogo Local Government Area of the state.


Kiyawa noted that investigation has commenced to find out the details of the matter
