Strong Reactions As Police Kill IPOB Men In Enugu

The killing of three members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) by policemen in Enugu State, on Sunday, has sparked outrage, on the social media.
It was learnt that members of the proscribed group clashed with the policemen in Emene, Enugu State.
Three persons were feared dead with many injured due to the clash.
Gory pictures of lifeless bodies have flooded the social media, sparking angry reactions on the microblogging platform, Twitter.
Those who reacted to the incident lambasted the Nigeria Police Force for using arms on unarmed citizen, noting that the force did not unleash terror on bandits but on innocent citizens.
@obi_Nwosu tweeted: “The Nigerian armed forces just killed three armless IPOB members. Those boys were not given options for rehabilitation. Rehabilitation is reserved only for those who kill.”
@UchePOkoye tweeted:
“The killing of IPOB members in Enugu by Nigerian Police today is an act of provocation. This is getting out of hand.
You can not continue to spill blood in our land. It is not going to be tolerated again.”
@Jasmine_naza tweeted: “What happened in Emene Enugu state today should be addressed ASAP by the state government, IPOB leaders, Nigeria police force and the Federal government. We deserve to know why lives were lost for absolutely nothing!”
