NBA Shifts Play-Off Games

The National Basketball Association (NBA) has postponed three playoff games earlier slated for Wednesday after Milwaukee Bucks announced their refusal to take part in the game to protest the shooting of African-American, Jacob Blake.
The 29-year-old, African-American, Blake, on Sunday, was shot at the back multiple times by Kenosha, Wisconsin, United States of America.
According to doctors’ report, Mr. Blake may not be able to use his legs to walk due to severe of the spinal cord.
The shooting has led to riots and protests in Wisconsin with the National Guard being called in to maintain order.
Protesting the shooting, the Milwaukee Bucks has refused to play their game 5 playoff series against Orlando Magic.
Orlando Magic also agreed to support the decision of their opponent, leaving the league body with no choice.
Announcing the postponement, NBA tweeted:
“The NBA and the NBPA today announced that in light of the Milwaukee Bucks’ decision to not take the floor today for Game 5 against the Orlando Magic, today’s three games – MIL-ORL, HOU-OKC and LAL-POR have been postponed. Game 5 of each series will be rescheduled.”
