Video: BBNaija Finalist Brings Baby By Water Birth

Former housemate of the Big Brother Naija, reality show, Mike Edwards and his wife, Perri Shakes-Drayton have welcomed their first child.

The baby was delivered through water birth with a video of the life birth being posted on Instagram.

The baby boy was born on Thursday, August 26th at about 7:00 am (London time).

Edwards took to his Instagram handle, on Thursday, made the announcement, while sharing a video of the delivery process.

He wrote, “Matthew Olaoluwa Edwards ?❤️ August 26th 2020 7:00am • Labour & Delivery story live on our ‘Mike and Perri’ YouTube Channel (Link in bio)#childbirth #MikeandPerri.”

Edward’s British wife retired from athletics in February apparently after the conception of the baby.

She had been a star hurdler before a knee injury at the World Championships in 2013 compelled her to focus on sprinting. Her father, is the former fitness trainer for British boxer, Lennox Lewis.

The couple got married few months before he came on the Big Brother Naija show, in 2019 where he finished as runner up.

The couple christened its new born baby, Matthew Olaoluwa Edwards.
