Too Sexy? Islamic Teacher Takes Turn On Raped Girl

An Islamic teacher identified as Ismaila Saheed, 38, has been arrested for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl, who came to him to report alleged rape by one Toliba Sabith.

Ogun police, over the weekend, arrested the duo of Ismaila and Sabith for the alleged rape, committed on August 25, at Mowe.

They were arrested after the victim had reported the case to the police.

According to the victim, Sabith at the first instance, raped her at Imedu Nla Mowe, so the victim went ahead to her Islamic teacher, Ismaila to report the rape, who also allegedly had carnal knowledge of the 15-year-old.

The victim also noted that her Islamic teacher under the guise that he want to remove the pregnancy that had occurred due to her earlier rape incident with Sabith, allegedly raped her in the process.

Ogun state spokesperson, Abimbola Ogunyemi said, “She said she was raped by Sabith and she went to her Islamic and Arabic teacher to tell him about it. Having listened to her ordeal, the Arabic teacher Ismaila Saheed told her that she might have gotten pregnant as a result of the incident and he offered to help her remove the said pregnancy.

“Surprisingly, instead of removing the imaginary pregnancy, he also had carnal knowledge of her, after which he inserted a sharp object into her private part causing her a serious vaginal injury.”

Ogunyemi disclosed that the suspects have confessed to the crime, while the victim has been taken to hospital.
