Ize-Iyamu Asks INEC, Police To Check PDP

Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, the All Progressives Congress, APC candidate in the Edo State governorship election has called on security agencies to tighten security around the state towards preventing what he alleged as a plot by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to compromise the election.

Ize-Iyamu alleged that the party had conscripted its governors to help the PDP candidate buy over votes on election day.

Speaking through his campaign spokesman, John Mayaki, Ize-Iyamu called on the security agencies and INEC to strengthen their operations and protect the integrity of the election from the alleged rigging plans of the PDP. He also tasked local and international observers on an expansive network to uncover and report agents already recruited by the PDP to execute its vote-buying plans.
