The disqualification of Erica from the ongoing Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) reality TV show has sparked reactions on the social media.

Erica, who had been tipped as one of the winners of the N85 million contest, was shown the exit door on Sunday by Biggi after receiving her third and final strike of the competition.

On Saturday, after the house party, Erica verbally attacked and threatened Laycon, one of the house mates in the house, a scenario that appeared to be a bad omen for her.

Announcing Erica’s disqualification, Biggi enumerated three changes against Erica – goading, threatening a housemate, and interfering with the production process during her verbal attack on Laycon.

Erica had earlier been issued two strikes for whispering and misuse of the head of house (HoH) lounge, the third strike earned her the disqualification on Sunday.

Many viewers of the reality show have taken to the microblogging platform, Twitter to express their views concerning Erica’s disqualification.

Many were of the view that she deserved the disqualification due to her attitude and lack of focus in N85m contest.

Some sympathized with Erica, believing that she will ride on her popularity to get something for herself.

She tried fighting:

Lucy but she didn't give in.

Wathoni she too didn't give in.

Nengi she didn't give her the opportunity.

Laycon still didn't fight back.

If we are being truly sincere though,
Kidd was the true downfall of Erica.
Not Laycon at all.

Getting involved with Kidd made her emotional. It got her two avoidable strikes. Her errors yesterday was all because of seeing Kidd with Nengi.
