Police Make Arrest As Protesters Besiege Gbagi’s Hotel

The Delta Police Command has waded into case of alleged human rights violations  involving Signatious Hotel, Warri and her staff allegedly stripped naked, and photographed over alleged financial issues.

The police intervention came as as some members of the public staged a peaceful protest around Warri on Friday.

The protesters carried placards with inscriptions including “Stop the violence against women “,” Female dignity natters”,”Delta lives matters” amongst others.

The hotel is owned by a former Minister of Education (State) Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi. Gbagi had claimed that the staff involved who were photographed naked were involved in a sex romp.


The Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Hafiz Inuwa in an interview confirmed the arrest of two hotel Staff.

The State Police boss said “It is true, arrests were made based on the report we received. The incident that happened.

“Already, I have directed for a thorough investigation into the matter because nobody is above the law. The law of this country is not a respected of anybody. So, our investigation is going to be total. We are assuring that whoever have a hand in that case, during investigation, the truth will eventually come out.”
