To commemorate Nigeria’s 60th independence anniversary, the authorities of the United Arab Emirates displayed the green and white Nigeria flag on Burj Khalifia, a skyscraper situated in Dubai.

On Wednesday, videos and pictures of the green and white lighting on Burj Khalifa appeared on the social media.

The skyscraper is the world’s tallest building with 2,722 feet with about 163 floors.

The gesture of the UAE government will improve the diplomatic relations between the country and Nigeria, following the slight strain in diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Recall that the UAE government placed Nigeria on a travel ban with the Nigerian Government retaliating with a ban on the Emirates airline, one of the major revenues of the UAE.

The UAE has rescinded his decision with the Nigerian Government lifting the ban of Emirates airline.
