The 126 new cases on Friday were recorded in 11 states and the FCT.

The new cases brought the total number of cases in the country to 59,127 confirmed cases out of which 50,593 persons have been discharged.

The total number of deaths remained at 1,112 as it was as at the last day of September.

The highest number of cases were recorded in Lagos with 62 new cases with Rivers having 22 and Ogun 9 new cases.
