Major Stars Join End SARS Campaign

Davido, Wizkid, Olamide, Savage, Others Want End Of Police Brutality

Many Nigerian celebrities have lent their voices to the ongoing campaign to end police brutality especially in the ranks of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) unit.

The entertainers have taken to their social media accounts, especially on Twitter to join the fray of many Nigerians calling for the end to the brutality meted against citizens by SARS in the #EndSARS campaign.

@Wizkid tweeted, responding to a comment for Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, “Mr Governor! I met with you December 2019! You expressed how proud you are of the entertainment industry and all we do. Pls do something let’s be proud of you too abeg ! #Endsars!!”

@yemialadee tweeted, “I know you see these tweets …. you can monitor bigbrother from Government House….. oya #EndSARS now, innocent Nigerian Youths are being killed everyday.”

@DONJAZZY tweeted, “They are doing more of killing us than protecting us. You have lost control of your men. Take these touts in uniforms off our streets.  #EndSarsNow.”

@Olamide tweeted, “Police brutality is sky rocketing by the day And the nigeria gov. Is not deaf nor blind, they see all the trends and tag along with whichever one they like. You don’t have to like this one to do right thing. The hashtags are becoming tiring. The people are sick of it

@TiwaSavage tweeted, “END SARS!!!! @MBuhari @jidesanwoolu #WeAreTired.”

@Davido tweeted, “#endsarsnow !!!! If we all come together as brothers and sisters and also as citizens of this country we can end this Nonsense!!”
