Ordinary Nigerians Grumble As APC, PDP ‘Enemies’ Chill Out At Atiku/Ribadu Wedding

The wedding of the son of former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar and the daughter of former Economic and financial Commission (EFCC) chairman, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu,has raised eyebrows among Nigerians over the claims to ideological differences between the two ruling political parties.

Atiku was the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the 2019 elections while Ribadu was the agent of President Muhammadu Buhari, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the election.

Pictures of the wedding have shown otherwise political combatants like APC National Leader, Bola Tinubu, former governor of Kano, Kwankwaso; Governor of Kaduna, El-Rufai and other prominent politicians who joined Atiku and Ribadu for the wedding.

This development sparked reactions as many Nigerians took to the micro-blogging platform saying that despite the media war Nigerian politicians engage in, their children still marry themselves and many wonder if there is any difference between Nigerian politicians.
