Toyin Abraham Leads #EndSARS Protest In Ibadan

A day after she was attacked for promoting her new movie during the unfolding #EndSARS protests, Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham has joined the protest.

She joined the ongoing #EndSars nationwide protest in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

On Friday, the actress came under attack on the microblogging platform, Twitter for promoting her movie, ‘Fate of Alakada’, admist the online campaign for the disbandment of SARS.

Many Twitter users threatened to boycott the movie for what they perceived as insensitive and inconsiderate attitude towards the #EndSars.

On Saturday, pictures and videos appeared online showing the actress leading a group of youths in protest against the police squad.

Sharing a video clip of the #EndSARS protest, the actress wrote, I am more than my movies, I am  an instrument for change and a destiny implementer. You can do this. love you all. #EndSARS.”

Many Nigerian and foreign celebrities have lent their voices towards the ongoing nationwide #EndSars protest for the disbandment of the police unit, SARS, on account of the alleged brutality of the unit.
