Zahra Buhari, Kiki Osinbajo Get Knocks, Kudos For Role In #EndSARS
By Emmanuel Adigwe
The surprising support for the #EndSARS campaign by Zahra Buhari and Kiki Osinbajo, respectively daughters of President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has drawn strong reactions from Nigerians.
The two ladies had through Instagram thrown support for the campaign to end the brutalities traced to that unit of the Police.
Kiki Osinbajo posted a picture on her Instagram handle showing a clenched fist with the caption, “POLICE BRUTALITY MUST END NOW.. #endpolicebrutality #endsars” while Zahra Buhari applied several tags supportive of the campaign on her handle.
The apparent inclination of the two ladies towards the protesters has, however, drawn mixed reactions with some Nigerians taunting them on their relationship with the president and the vice-president.
There were some Nigerians who responded through their Instagram pages to show their disapproval of their parents handling of the country. The two ladies also got support from others who drew a boundary between the actions of their fathers and the two women.
