Nigerians Mourn As Stray Bullet Kills Fresh Graduate Who Just Tweeted ‘Nigeria Will Not End Me’

Hour after tweeting “Nigeria will not end me”, Oke Obi-Enadhuze, a fresh graduate of computer science from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) in Ogun met his death through a stray bullet.

Oke was shot at the front of his house at St. Paul Street, Mafoloku, Oshodi area of Lagos State  on Wednesday.

Before his death, at 1:45pm, the deceased, on Twitter, wrote, “Nigeria will not end me.”

It appeared that his tweet was concerning the shooting at Mafoloku, Oshodi area, on Wednesday, as suspected hoodlums attacked a police station in the area, as police officers were said to have shot to scare them away.

According to friends, the deceased was waiting for the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to call off the ongoing strike to enable him do his final school clearance for the one year national service.

His demise has thrown the social media to mourning and was further heightened when a video showing a woman suspected to be his mother shedding tears while holding his lifeless body, surrounded by sympathizers appeared on the social media.
