Popular Nigerian musician, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, has come under severe criticism over his recent album, ‘Made in Lagos’.

GWG recalls that the musician released the much anticipated album on Friday after having postponed the release date twice.

However, some Nigerians who listened to the album were not satisfied with the effort of the singer as many compared his new work with his previous work saying that the “Socco” crooner did not live to expectations.

Prominent among the critiques of the singer is former musician turned blogger, Tunde Ednut, who stated that the yet to be released album of Davido will overshadow Wizkid’s album.

Tund Ednut wrote: “If Davido drops that jam with Nicki Minaj, someone’s album will get swallowed in the process.”

Apart from Tunde Ednut, some other music lovers also expressed their dissatisfaction concerning the recently released album as they took to their Twitter pages calling the album “thrash”.

However, former Senate President Bukola Saraki is an exception to the criticisms as he praised the musical work.

GWG brings some reactions:

The same Twitter user further added.
He wrote: “Summary of that album is: “wo wo wo” “ow ow ow” “ye ye ye.  I’m not listening to the rest of the album cause the whole album sounds like one long boring ass highness induced song.”

ZEUS@itzbasito said: “It’s a norm to trash talk Wizkid on this app, but when it’s someone else it becomes toxic and bitter, even when the person is being manipulative to garner attention and pity, people still tend to support it. Thank God man no be God and the world doesn’t end on twitter.”
