ADC Slumps As Obaseki Takes 2nd Term Oath

Governor Godwin Obaseki was profusely thanking the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP sometimes around 12.30 for providing him with a cover after he was denied in the All Progressives Congress, APC when his Aide-de-Camp collapsed.

The first hint of an emergency was when the master of ceremony started calling above the voice of the governor for a doctor or paramedic to deal with an emergency.

He, however, did not give the details.

The event happened just as the governor gave a speech in which he thanked the several persons that made the inauguration possible.

Among those he thanked were President Muhammadu Buhari, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, his lovely wife, Betsy and his deputy Philip Shaibu and his wife, he described as an angel.

He also thanked the six governors that were present or represented.

However, it was at the point of thanking the PDP for providing him with an umbrella when “we were abandoned” that the ADC reportedly slumped.

Mr. Crusoe Osagie, the governor’s spokesman did not pick calls when GWG called to get an update on the development.
