VIDEO: How Robbers Attacked Bullion Van In Lagos

Two persons were reportedly killed on Thursday after armed robbers attacked a bullion van conveying cash from a mall in Ajah to a new generation bank in Lagos Island.

A motorcyclist was killed on the spot when the robbers who had followed the bullion van from the mall in Ajah struck at a deserted place along Ado road, Ajah, in Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos.

Sources disclosed that the robbers once they caught up with the unsuspecting occupants of the bullion van opened fire on it.

While the commercial motorcyclist was killed on the spot by stray bullet, the driver and the SPY policeman in the vehicle escaped with injuries.

Once they overpowered the occupants of the bullion van, the robbers according to sources helped themselves to the money before getting away in their vehicle.

The robbers were also said to have attacked a water tanker nearby injuring the driver and his conductor.
