Nigerians React As Ezekwesili Faults Adesina’s Claim On Buhari Fatherly Deeds

Former Minister of Education, Dr Oby Ezekesili, has said that President Buhari has no plans to end police brutality which the #EndSARS demonstrators campaigned against.

Her claim followed the publication of an article on Friday by the spokesperson of President Buhari, Femi Adesina, where he stated that the fatherly disposition of President Buhari averted bloodshed in the #EndSARS protest.

Reacting to this development, Oby Ezekwesili took to her Twitter page saying that President Buhari was not serious with the demands of the protesters.

She wrote: “Our young #EndSARS protesters should upon reading things like this raise their chins many notches higher for advocacy well done! Next is, frame Next Steps of your agitation with the knowledge that @MBuhari’s presidency @NGRPresident has no interest in ending police brutality.”

Some social media users took to the micro-blogging platform to react to Ezekwesil’s statement as they criticized Adeshina for his statement. GWG brings some of their views below:
