Anambra Guber: How PDP Will Win – Secondus

National  Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche  Secondus has said that the only way to win the forthcoming governorship election in the state would be for party members to rally round one another in unity.

He spoke as he affirmed Chief Ndubusi Nwobu as the only recognised chairman of the party in the state.

Secondus made the declarations at a grand reception in honour of Nwobu by the Anambra Central Senatorial District of party in Awka at the weekend.

Secondus who was represented by the National Youth Leader of PDP, Hon. Sunday Udeh-Okoye, urged party members to rally round Nwobu for the party to realise its goal of returning to power in Anambra State.

The PDP despite its strong presence in Anambra State has not held the governorship since Dr. Chris Ngige was removed as governor by the Supreme Court in 2006.

“If you are united as one family and put party interest above individual interests, the party will produce the next governor in the state at the forthcoming gubernatorial election. Anambra is a PDP state and this is the time to take over what rightly belongs to us,” Secondus said.

“It is clear now that among all political parties in Nigeria, it is only the PDP that can take the state and the country to the Promised Land.

“We must be united to deliver the party in 2021,” he said.
