No Dice For 9ice: Nigerians Shun Plea To Beg Wife
Nigerian singer, Abolore Akande, popularly known as 9ice, has come under attack on Twitter for asking Nigerians to beg his wife, after admitting adultery against her
9ice, on Saturday, shared a video via his instagram handle, where he confessed to have done “something shameful” against her wife.
This is coming days after the singer was seen in a compromising manner with another lady.
The ‘Gongo Aso’ crooner appealed to Nigerians to help him beg his wife, saying she is his “backbone.”
The singer said: “I have done something so shameful, something terrible and it’s costing me my family. And the most important thing to me right now is my family. That 9ice that you’ll always see and appreciate is because l have a backbone, my wife, Olasunkami Akande.
“And because of this terrible thing that l have done, it’s costing me a whole lot. I apologise for what l have done and l need you guys to help me beg my wife. She is my backbone.
“That 9ice that you always see, that strives, that brings out the best in our culture and tradition is because I have a backbone.
“I have excelled in so many other things and what thing that l have been failing is my marriage. But l want this marriage to work. Please and please, help me beg my wife. Save this marriage for me. God bless you.”
The video has gone viral on the microblogging platform, sparking harsh criticisms of 9ice.
Some Twitter users lambasted the singer for cheating his wife and coming to social media to ask for forgiveness instead of doing so to her wife.
The singer had endured turbulent marital relationships, making him jump from one relationship to another.
