Ayodele Fayose has again called out Muhammadu Buhari using Joe Biden’s approach to governance to taunt the Nigeria leader over his delay in constituting his cabinet after winning the 2015 presidential election.

It is now believed that the delay largely contributed to the first recession in the Buhari administration in 2016.

GWG recalls that President Buhari took over five months before he could form a cabinet after he assumed office during his first term.

Fayose took to his Twitter account on Tuesday to reminisce on the issue after watching America’s President-Elect, Joe Biden, making nominations for critical positions in his cabinet. The former Ekiti  governor disclosed that both  Biden and Buhari are now the same age of 78 though Buhari was 73 at the time.

He wrote: “Watching @JoeBiden nominees for critical govt positions, address Americans, reminds me how President Buhari was unable to constitute his cabinet for over seven months after assuming office.  Biden is 78. Buhari is 78.

“At 73, our own President Buhari spent close to 10 months searching for people he already knew. At 78, Biden has hit the ground running.”
