Bianca Ojukwu has blasted Igbo leaders for being in a rat race to be accommodated in Abuja, and in that way forgotten the marginalisation and other issues confronting their people.

The widow of the deceased Biafran leader has also tongue lashed the leadership of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA for not pursuing a post-humous honour for Ojukwu.

Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu spoke at the ninth memorial of her husband at the Ojukwu Centre, Owerri, Imo State.

Noting the silence of Igbo leaders to the marginalization of Ndigbo by the Federal Government, she said that it was lamentable that instead of speaking out for their people that the leaders were engrossed “in a rat race to be included in the center.”

She also lamented the detachment of the APGA leadership to the memory of her husband observing that the Movement for the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSON and Biafra Independence Movement have been the ones lifting the memory of the deceased Igbo leader.
