3 Players That Can Spare Arsenal Agony Against Tottenham
By Ekene Dike
Arsenal are in the wrong end of the league table as they travel to play against a boastful Jose Mourinho side in the North London derby on Sunday.
However, three Arsenal players have the ability to bail Arteta out of jail in the highly anticipated fixture.
Bukayo Saka: This teenage sensation has been one of Mikel Arteta’s weapons. The Gunners possess an inspirational figure in this young fellow who isn’t afraid of taking on opposition defenders, shooting from long distances and doing the unimaginable with the ball.
Playing in multiple positions as a marauding full-back or promising winger makes him a pain in the butt of opposition defenders.
Gabriel: Brazilian defender Gabriel, has made a good impression of himself so far. In spite of the Gunners’ lackluster performances, his contributions in the defense have not gone unnoticed. An addition of goalscoring has seen him score two goals against Fulham and Arsenal’s latest Premier League defeat against Wolves. A five star performance against Manchester United at Old Trafford put some respect on his name. Harry Kane and the rest of Spurs’s attack wouldn’t have it easy against him.
Pierre Emerick- Aubameyang: Arsenal’s skipper hasn’t been in good terms with goalscoring recently. He has managed just two goals in this season’s campaign, however, his sublime goalscoring records in the past scares opponents. If he is presented with a reasonable amount of chances, he will definitely punish Mourinho’s army.
