Obuah Cancels Birthday, Asks Friends To Monetise Well-Wishes

Billionaire philanthropist and immediate past chairman of the Rivers State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Bro. Felix Obuah has cancelled plans for his annual birthday on December 20.

Obuah who is also the sole administrator, Rivers State Waste Management Agency, RIWAMA, has, however, called on those insisting on celebrating with him to monetize their goodwill towards him in cash.

Though no specific reason was given for not observing what some have seen as an annual ritual most often at the behest of his well-wishers, Bro Obuah appealed to those who could have presented him with gifts or organized parties, religious and social programmes to do so by monetizing such gifts.

Bro Obuah, said, it became necessary to make public the suspension of this year’s Birthday Anniversary to save his numerous friends and fans the energy, time and financial resources that would be wasted in trying to identify with him for the suspended event.

“If such friends and fans should insist on having him celebrate the birthday anniversary, however, such persons should do well to transmit their gifts and presents to him in monetary terms,” Bro Felix Obuah emphatically declared.
