Kankara Abduction: Aisha Yesufu Calls Out DSS

Human rights activist and a co-convener of the BringBackOurGirls movement, Aisha Yesufu, has continued to taunt the federal government for the way it handled the #EndSARS protesters.

GWG recalled that in the aftermath of the #EndSars protest,  the Central Bank of Nigeria sought a court injunction to freeze some of the bank accounts of some of the promoters.

Reacting to this on Saturday, Yesufu took to her Twitter handle to taunt the Department of State Services over its failure to intercept intelligence on the abduction.

She wrote:

“How come the State Security Service, also known as DSS, did not intercept intelligence on the Kankara abduction? Where is the might they bring to those holding the government to account? Where is the might they used against protesters?

“Miyetti Allah negotiated with terrorists on behalf of the government. In what capacity? Is Miyetti Allah a trained negotiating organisation or a fellow terror organisation with access? What the heck is going on in Nigeria? How are we comfortable with a supposed ethnic group being the one negotiating with terrorists on behalf of the government?”
