Four Day Holiday For Christmas Festivities – FG

The Federal Government has declared Friday 25, Monday 28 December 2020 to mark the Christmas and Boxing Days holidays.

With the Saturday and Sunday in between as public holidays, Nigerians have thus been gifted a four day holiday for the two holidays.

The Federal Government has also declared Friday, January 1, 2021 as public holiday to mark the New Year celebration.

The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, made the declaration on behalf of the federal government in a statement signed on Wednesday by the permanent secretary of the ministry, Dr Shuaib Belgore.

While felicitating with Christians and all Nigerians both at home and abroad on this year’s Christmas and New Year Celebrations, Aregbesola urged Christians to adopt the creed of Jesus Christ on faith, hope and love.
