New Twist In Kaduna Sex Party story

Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has come under attack for demolishing Asher Hotel, Kaduna on the suspicion it was to host the Kaduna Sex party.

GWG had reported that the building was demolished because it was advertised as the venue for the Kaduna sex party that was aborted by the authorities.

Although, the sex party did not hold as planned on December 27 after the intervention of the state government but the hotel was demolished by Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KASUPDA) on Thursday.

The Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority on Thursday stated that it will not hesitate to demolish hotels that promote “immoral act”.

“KASUPDA have demolished Asher Hotel in Barnawa Kaduna South. Asher Hotel was the proposed venue for the Kaduna Sex Party; the hotel was also caught contravening the Covid-19 guidelines of the state. KASUPDA will not hesitate to demolish properties used for such an immoral act”, the tweet reads.

The development sparked reactions on social media as some social media users lampooned Gov Rufai for the action and likened him to Gov. Nyesom Wike who also destroyed a hotel in Port Harcourt for flouting Covid-19 guidelines.

Many argued that destruction of the hotel was not in the best interest of anyone as a fine could have been imposed on the hotel and through it, increase the revenue of the government.
