237 ladies and men were arrested over the last weekend for violating the state’s COVID-19 protocol during raids in two major night clubs. Those arrested were paraded by the police at the State Command headquarters before being charged before the mobile court.
They were fined N20,000 in accordance with the state’s laws. The state commissioner of police, Hakeem Odumosu has also promised sanctions against the owners of the nightclubs.
